Becau...I absolutely must have readers read for me. Because the bulk of my writing is done late at night, it's simple for mistakes to creep in and I often need someone else to point them out to me. I don't share snippets with anyone I don't trust, but I also don't spend time worrying that they'll take my ideas. I worry more about unintentional sharing, and I know some writers that use this as an excuse not to get feedback--which I think it kinda ridiculous.
